The Bobcat is the mascot at Central High School. This statue is located in the center of the campus near the Cafeteria and Office buildings. In our day, the Key Club had the responsibility for the care of the live bobcat that attended athletic events, and pep rallies.

This is the Sarah Bernhardt Theatre, one of the most unique structures to be found on any high school campus. The theatre will hold well over 2,000, and has been home to award-winning plays and musicals, plus concerts from the Band, Orchestra and Chorale. The building's unique feature is the multi-colored roof, which makes it very visible from the air. The Central Campus was built in the late 1950's, and is still a vibrant, modern facility..
